Hi, I’m Nichola — the maker, designer, and hands behind Nichola Jewelry. My love for jewelry began in childhood, rummaging through jars of beads at The Bead Shop in Laguna Beach with my mom. We’d spend hours gathering treasures, then head home to turn our finds into something meaningful. That early spark never left me.
Today, I handcraft every piece in my home studio in Rancho Santa Fe, California. Inspired by the ocean and botanicals, my work blends natural textures with refined craftsmanship. Each design starts from raw materials — silver sheet, wire, and gold — and is thoughtfully sawed, soldered, formed, and polished by hand.
I use fine silver, sterling silver, and gold, along with genuine sea glass collected from the coasts of Southern California and England, plus carefully chosen precious and semi-precious gemstones. My background in Fine Arts from California State University, Long Beach, deeply informs my creative process and approach to design.
